I had to turn everything off and simply work. I had to translate my time into something tangible. I highly recommend that everyone turn off their social sites for a time to process their thoughts and work on being good in lieu of maintaining social pretenses. We artists need our pinnacles of inspiration, our muses, our purpose, but how does that diverge from any other profession? How is what I do for a living any less valid or important as a soldier, doctor, bricklayer, or bridge builder? I’ve had to hide away and paint. And paint I did. So please stay tuned for new work.
