I have always had a thing for Marilyn Monroe, (AKA, Norma Jean). Despite the controversy that surrounded her because of her love life, she still holds a huge place of respect in my heart for the artist. I have read about her and the mistakes she felt she made, and the regrets she pointed out in various interviews. I can see that she felt very misunderstood and her real talents were over shadowed by the obvious sex symbol title she possessed. I can relate to that in a slightly different way. I am no sex symbol, (yet), but I do feel like a total loner 99 percent of the time so I can relate.
Marilyn’s style and classiness is just so darned sexy. Her intelligence was ignored by the media, and her beauty was all they payed attention to then, (and more than likely now). If she was still living? would she have moved past the sex bomb into a leadership role model for girls? Would she have still been a legend if living today? I would think so.
I hope to meet a woman like her one day. If I do? I will know exactly what I have in front of me. A WOman with sophistication and intelligence. A person with passion and kindness. A girl with style and ambition. Yes that woman would steal my heart… and I hope she would never give it back.
I just wanted to say thank you for painting me such a beautiful piece of art. This is the best gift I have received yet. Everything about it was done beautifully and I will treasure it forever. You have an amazing talent and I have no doubts that it’s going to take you to so many places in life. I am so proud to have this as the focal point of my home and I always give the artist his due credit because it truely is incredible.
This will be hanging in our living room so everyone that visits gets a peak. We are absolutely mesmerized every time we look at it. So awesome, thank you! The video is great too!
