What an experience this has been to paint the mural and have a city celebrate the mural. I have never been so honored and blessed with so much attention for my work.

In my opinion, I would rather not be noticed. I like being the quiet in the corner artist and the work is the star. I do know that a part of this job? Is talking about the work with lots of people… sigh… I know how to do that, but again… I am a little more shy than most might guess.

So, the taste of downtown was great, the music kicked butt, and the food? Well, my daughter and I were stuffed. I managed to paint a performance painting and sold it for a fair price, and went back to painting.
