Michael’s Studios

This page contains a brief but interesting photographic history of the various studios I have had the honor of using in my 16 years of painting. From attics, ally ways, garages, porches, backyards, water parks to shopping malls, I have painted and tended many odd studio spaces.

My favorite Studio called The Toolbox, 2011-2014.

Always, the space was meant to be shared with other artists. And there have been many wonderful and brilliant people to share studio time with through the years.

There are many more studios to come I am sure, so check back for more updates. Feel free to comment at the bottom of the page.

I like having various studios in different places for many reasons. Keeping a studio as a ‘pop up” space for just a few months, or even e few years, is always inspiring for me to just work. To get things done. Not get distracted because I have limited time in the space. It is a motivator.

I also like the fact i am being creative and communing with the muses of the spirit in so many strange places. Finding the movement and breath of inspired thought in a bowling alley is impressive if you ask me. 🙂
